Job Description
DecisionPoint seeks an E-EFMP DevSecOps Engineer to support secure software delivery, automated pipelines, and environment configuration within a large federal and DoD-aligned mission environment. This role maintains CI/CD pipelines, security scanning automation, deployment processes, and version control workflows for cloud-hosted and CMS-integrated applications.
The E-EFMP DevSecOps Engineer works closely with engineers, developers, cybersecurity teams, and system administrators to ensure secure, reliable, and repeatable deployments across all environments.
This position is fully remote.

The E-EFMP DevSecOps Engineer will
- Support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and code integration workflows.
- Implement and maintain security scanning, SAST/DAST tooling, and dependency checks.
- Manage CMS and application environment configurations across DEV, TEST, STAGE, and PROD.
- Maintain version control repositories, branching standards, and merge patterns.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure secure coding, build reliability, and release readiness.
- Support automated infrastructure provisioning using cloud-native tools and IaC frameworks.
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures, build issues, configuration errors, and deployment blockers.
- Optimize pipeline performance, deployment speed, and automation reliability.
- Document pipeline processes, configuration standards, and environment setup procedures.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, and release preparation.
Must hold an active Secret clearance, supported by a Tier 3 background investigation.
Education (Required)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, DevSecOps, Cybersecurity, IT Engineering, or a related field.
Experience (Required)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, cloud engineering, or software automation roles.
- Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines, code integration, and deployment automation.
- Experience implementing security scanning tools and secure DevSecOps practices.
- Experience configuring and managing version control systems (Git-based).
- Experience supporting enterprise applications in cloud or hybrid environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of SAST/DAST tools, dependency scanning, and security automation.
- Familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of secure configuration practices within DoD or federal environments.
- Experience with AWS certifications or AWS-specific automation.
- Experience supporting CMS environments in a DevSecOps context.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools integrated with pipelines.
