About the role:

This is a full time, in person, high output engineering role. You will live and work inside our Truckee hacker house for a minimum of six months. There is dedicated space to sleep, work, and build alongside the founders and core team. We will also take work trips around the world to stay creative and keep momentum high. After the hacker house period, the role transitions into a hybrid structure with continued in person collaboration. This position requires full commitment. No part time roles for other companies.

About you:

You are a senior mobile engineer who knows how to ship fast and build clean systems that scale. You have shipped real projects before and you understand how to own a mobile stack from architecture through deployment. You are strong with React Native and strong with Convex. You enjoy leading a team, setting technical standards, and building systems designed for real time, high pressure environments like live sports. You want ownership and you want to help build a sports analytics platform with massive potential.

What the role involves:

• Lead mobile development across iOS and Android

• Own full architecture, performance, and technical direction

• Build and scale backend logic using Convex

• Integrate predictive models, AI driven analysis, and real time game data

• Handle performance spikes during big games and high traffic moments

• Work daily with product and design to ship fast and iterate nonstop

• Guide junior engineers and uphold strong technical standards

• Help shape long term roadmap, advanced analytics features, and core user experience

What we are looking for:

• Four or more years of mobile engineering experience

• Strong experience with React Native and Convex

• Proven experience leading mobile projects end to end

• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, API integrations, and performance optimization

• Experience deploying to the App Store and Google Play

• Bonus experience with real time data, sports analytics, or event driven systems

• Comfortable working in a fast, high intensity environment

• Must be willing to live in Truckee for six months and travel with the team

• Must be fully committed to Stat AI with no part time work elsewhere

Compensation:

We offer a base salary of one hundred thousand per year plus equity options in Stat AI. We cover moving and relocation costs. You receive a daily Uber Eats credit and full access to the hacker house. We also cover travel for team work trips and off site build sessions. This role gives you real ownership, equity upside, and the opportunity to lead the mobile direction of a viral sports analytics platform from the ground up.
