Senior Systems Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Systems Administrator to join our infrastructure team. In this role, you’ll manage mission-critical Linux systems, Azure cloud services, compliance initiatives, network services, backup infrastructure, and monitoring systems. You will be instrumental in ensuring the security, availability, and performance of our infrastructure while helping the company meet its compliance goals (SOC 2, etc.).

Skills and Qualifications

Required:

• Strong experience with Linux systems administration and virtualization (Proxmox/ESXi)
• Hands-on Azure management (networking, IAM, PaaS)
• Scripting and automation (Bash, Ansible, Terraform)
• Deep knowledge of monitoring, logging, and backup systems
• Knowledge and experience with SOC 2 security compliance and standards
• Experience managing TLS certificates and centralized logging

Preferred:

• Experience deploying or managing VDI environments
• Familiarity with Request Tracker (RT) or similar platforms
• Previous experience integrating SSO and enforcing MFA

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain our Linux based server infrastructure
• Manage and optimize Azure cloud deployments
• Work with (SOC 2) compliance officers through security best practices
• Automate infrastructure with Ansible and Terraform
• Lead backup, monitoring, and certificate management efforts
