Job Title: Healthcare Contract & Data Analyst (Managed Care)


Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma (Onsite 100%)

Shift: Days | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Type: Direct Hire

Duration: Full-Time

Pay Range: $68,390.40 – $98,102.58 (based on experience)

Relocation: Possible relocation package


Job Description:

The Contract & Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing managed care contracts, conducting financial modeling, and supporting contract negotiations to ensure compliance and optimal reimbursement. This role partners closely with internal teams, payors, and leadership to monitor performance, resolve contractual issues, and maintain accurate contract projections within Epic.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managed care contracting, payer reimbursement methodologies, and data analysis. This position is critical in supporting the organization’s revenue optimization, contract compliance, and financial forecasting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing managed care contracts and communicate operational impacts to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Develop financial models and contract projections within Epic for both hospital and physician contracts.
  • Monitor contract performance, ensure compliance, and initiate audits when discrepancies arise.
  • Identify variances, negotiate with payors for underpayments, and manage dispute resolution.
  • Review, interpret, and negotiate contract language during renewal and proposal processes.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize datasets required for contract modeling and analytics.
  • Collaborate with Epic teams to test, validate, and implement accurate reimbursement models.
  • Enhance departmental processes related to contract management and financial reporting.
  • Resolve programming issues related to rates, codes, and reimbursement logic.
  • Coordinate work with internal teams, payors, directors, and senior leadership.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental goals.


Skills / Experience Required:

  • Three to four years of experience in managed care, health plan contracting, or provider reimbursement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in financial modeling.
  • Experience with Epic or ability to obtain and maintain Epic certification in assigned modules.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power BI and Access.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally across departments.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to review complex financial and contractual data.
  • Experience resolving contract disputes and interpreting reimbursement methodologies.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Access, data warehouse tools, contract negotiations, contract language interpretation, and EPIC modeling.
  • Background working in a hospital, health system, clinic, or surgery center.
  • Familiarity with EHR environment and contract modeling tools.


Education:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Epic certification in assigned modules.
