Job Description
TroniqsRationale is seeking a skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in Manual Testing and foundational knowledge in Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should be proficient in API testing (REST & GraphQL), database validation using SQL/PostgreSQL, and have working knowledge of JMeter performance testing. You will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure high-quality deliverables across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Perform REST and GraphQL API testing using Postman; validate request/response payloads.
- Write and execute SQL queries (PostgreSQL) for backend data validation.
- Conduct performance testing using JMeter.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities.
- Contribute to automation initiatives and support the creation of basic automation scripts.
- Identify, report, and track bugs; perform regression, smoke, and functional testing.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure complete test coverage.
- Communicate test results, project status, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Support process improvements and testing best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of QA experience (Manual + basic Automation).
- Proficiency in Postman for API testing (REST & GraphQL).
- Strong SQL/PostgreSQL knowledge for backend data validation.
- Working knowledge of JMeter performance testing.
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
- Strong manual testing skills including smoke, regression, functional testing.
- Basic automation knowledge with willingness to advance skills.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to articulate previous project experience effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
