Senior Typescript Developer - Healthcare Systems

What we’re looking for

• A hard-working, passionate Typescript developer with a love of learning and solving complex problems
• Strong fluency in Typescript and general principles of web development
• Experienced practitioner of test-driven development with respect for both code quality and practical business objectives
• Desire to build systems that are good for the world and to benefit Australia’s healthcare ecosystem
• Willingness to work primarily without AI “vibe coding” tools
• Background experience in, or close connection to, healthcare roles would be valued highly but not essential

What you’ll work on

• An information highway between hospitals and healthcare staff that ensures every community in Australia has access to adequately staffed health services
• A medium-sized Typescript codebase across front-end and back-end, with potential for projects on other platforms and with other modalities (e.g mobile)
• A software stack that also includes Firebase/Google Cloud, Node.js, express, Github and more
• Feature development, optimisation & system design problems with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility in solution approace
