Job Title: Java + Spring Full-Stack Developer
Location: Remote
Contract Duration: 24+ Months (Long-Term Contract)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Java + Spring Full-Stack Developer for a 100% remote, long-term (24+ months) contract position. The ideal candidate will have strong backend experience with Java and Spring, along with hands-on skills in any modern frontend framework and cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices with performance and scalability in mind
- Collaborate with frontend teams and integrate APIs with modern UI frameworks (React / Angular / Vue)
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications in cloud environments
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and support cloud-native deployments
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues
- Write clean, secure, and well-documented code
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Java (8/11/17)
- Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data
- Experience with any frontend technology: React, Angular, or Vue
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Strong understanding of REST, microservices, JSON, Git, and CI/CD tools
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks
- Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes is a plus
- Good communication and experience working in distributed teams
Preferred Skills
- Experience with messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Knowledge of serverless/cloud-native patterns
- Familiarity with Terraform or IaC
- Performance tuning and monitoring experience
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
