Senior C++ Developer -Contractor
Long-Term Contract | Remote (Ireland & Northern Ireland)

A leading global FinTech organisation is seeking an experienced C++ Developers to join their engineering team on a long-term contracting basis starting in January. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-impact payments platform projects used by customers worldwide.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, enhance, and maintain complex payment processing systems.
- Work with modern C++ (C++14/17/20) in a high-performance, low-latency environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile / Lean setup.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and best-practice engineering standards.
- Troubleshoot, optimise, and deliver robust, reliable code for real-world financial applications.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven professional experience with modern C++ in production systems.
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, algorithms, and system architecture.
- Experience working in Agile or Lean environments.
- Bonus: experience in payments, financial services, or high-availability systems.
Contract & Location
- Long-term daily-rate contract (extensions expected).
- Start date: January.
- Fully remote within Ireland or Northern Ireland.
