We are seeking an experienced Palo Alto Cloud Network Senior Engineer to lead the design, automation, and support of our enterprise network and security infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. This is a full-time remote role, operating during night shift hours to support global operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Propose high-level infrastructure architecture guidelines and design scalable, secure technical solutions.
• Build, maintain, and document infrastructure components independently; perform technical reviews across engineering teams.
• Ensure system health, performance, and availability, driving resolution of complex production and client-impacting issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment and solution viability.
• Recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Influence IT standards related to security, compliance, auditing, and enterprise governance.
• Develop strategies for maintaining and enhancing both new and existing infrastructure solutions.
• Produce technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture artifacts supporting resilience, monitoring, and high availability.

Security & Network Responsibilities

• Hands-on responsibility for Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama, including setup, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and rule optimization.
• Create, review, and refine complex Palo Alto firewall policies in large enterprise environments.
• Support multi-cloud firewall architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Lead engineering efforts for routing, switching, load balancers, and shared IP network services.
• Configure and troubleshoot IPSec/VPN, LAN/WAN, and enterprise traffic flows.
• Analyze and diagnose network traffic using TCPDump, Wireshark, and related tools.
• Work extensively with Cisco network technologies and F5 load balancers (preferred).

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of IT experience in large enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls & Panorama (MANDATORY).
• Preferred experience with F5 load balancers and Cisco routers/switches.
• Proficiency in network automation tools such as Python, Ansible, Terraform.
• Strong understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, and enterprise security architectures.
• In-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN design, cloud network integrations, and secure routing.
