Job Description
We are seeking a NodeJS Developer who is passionate about building high-performance backend services and scalable distributed systems.
You will be part of a product-focused engineering team responsible for designing modern service-based architectures, developing secure APIs, optimizing database performance, and integrating external services. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Frontend Engineers, DevOps, and QA to deliver reliable and impactful software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js (NestJS / ExpressJS / Fastify)
- Design and implement scalable APIs and microservices
- Integrate third-party services (payment, authentication, logistics, CMS, etc.)
- Build and optimize relational and non-relational database structures
- (PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB)
- Implement caching and queueing systems (Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and clean architecture
- Review code, document technical solutions, and help improve development practices
- Work in an Agile environment and support CI/CD workflows
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Node.js (event-loop, async patterns, performance tuning)
- Hands-on experience with NestJS or ExpressJS
- Solid understanding of SQL databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL)
- Familiarity with Redis / Message Queues is a plus
- Experience in building secure APIs: JWT, OAuth2, RBAC
- Working knowledge of Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of service design, REST architecture, and system scalability
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to continuously learn
Nice to Have
- Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture
- Knowledge of GraphQL, gRPC
- Cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- ORM experience (Prisma / TypeORM / Sequelize)
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
