Market Intelligence Support Analyst (ESA/ESTEC) in NETHERLANDS

Octagon Professionals is looking for candidates to provide support to the Space Market Office at the Directorate of Commercialisation, Industry and Competitiveness at ESA. The Space Market Office aims to support the commercialization of the European Space Industry, by identifying, fostering and promoting opportunities for European businesses to work with ESA. The service comprises of a number of activities based in ESTEC (Netherlands, Nordwijk), ESA HQ (France, Paris) and ECSAT (Harwell, UK).

One of the key areas of support is the Market Intelligence, to be based in ESTEC (Nordwijk) or ESA HQ (Paris).

The role of Market Intelligence Support Analyst entails the following:

Responsibilities

• To identify new market spaces by analyzing trends and market disruptions.
• To model addressable markets, evaluate competitors, and engage with experts.
• To create a market database for forecasting and monitoring emerging space technologies.
• To lead outreach engagement actions and marketing campaigns.
• To support the management of business projects with leading business schools.
• To support the management of external market studies and prepare executive summaries.
• To lead marketing campaigns.
• To prepare executive summaries for public release.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Engineering and/or Economics and/or Business Management.
• At least 4 years of experience in market intelligence.
• Excellent English (C1 level).
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in international and multicultural environments.
• Knowledge of ESA and its programs is an asset.
