Freelance Python Developer for Refinery Optimization Platform

Backed by Offsite Management Systems LLC (Houston, TX), our programs are built around the MCOR framework – Manage, Control, Optimize, Reconcile – to drive operational excellence and profitability in the downstream refining industry.

We are now scaling our digital learning platforms and optimization engines, and looking to onboard skilled freelance developers with proven technical expertise.

This is a remote, contract-based freelance role for an experienced Python Developer to work on a cutting-edge refinery optimization platform. The focus will be on backend automation, integration with Excel and SQL Server, and supporting algorithmic workflows for LP/NLP-based blending systems.

You’ll collaborate closely with our founder, data scientists, and domain experts to implement solutions that are practical, fast, and reliable for real-world refining applications.

• Customize and extend LearnDash LMS within WordPress
• Build user-friendly dashboards using React.js
• Develop backend logic, scripts, and APIs in Python
• Connect and manage data using SQL Server
• Deploy and maintain systems in AWS environments
• Integrate third-party tools via Google API, Zapier, and custom solutions
• Ensure clean code, modular design, and reliable deployment pipelines
