Lead Technical Engineer - Power Plant Turbine Maintenance

We are a new, specialist technical support company based in Riyadh, KSA. Our mission is to provide world-class, responsive maintenance services for power plant turbines (Gas, Steam, Combined Cycle) with a primary focus on supporting the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC).

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Technical Engineer to serve as our ultimate technical authority. You are the expert's expert. You will be responsible for solving our clients' most complex turbine challenges, leading our field teams to success, and ensuring the absolute highest standard of quality and safety.

Your challenge? To blend deep, hands-on technical expertise with strong leadership to establish our reputation as the most reliable 3rd-party support partner in the Kingdom.

• Lead Complex Troubleshooting: Serve as the final escalation point for all complex turbine failures. Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to deliver definitive solutions.
• Master Maintenance Planning: Develop and scope comprehensive maintenance plans (CI, HGPI, Major Overhauls), identifying all necessary parts, tools, and technical resources.
• Be the Expert on the Ground: Provide expert on-site leadership and decision-making during critical project phases, planned shutdowns, and forced outages.
• Guarantee Quality: Act as the final technical authority, reviewing and approving all field service reports, engineering documents, and client recommendations.
• Be the Client's Technical Partner: Act as the primary technical liaison for key clients, including SEC. Confidently explain complex issues and recommendations to station management.
• Build Your Team: Mentor, train, and develop our growing team of field engineers and technicians, building the company's core technical capability.

This is a senior role for a seasoned expert. Non-negotiable requirements include:

• Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in power generation turbine maintenance.
• Background: Proven background as a Field Service Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, or senior Technical Support Engineer is essential.
• OEM Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of major OEM equipment is mandatory (e.g., Siemens Energy, GE Power, Mitsubishi Power).
• Education: Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Technical Skills: Strong diagnostic skills in vibration analysis, performance analysis, and familiarity with I&C systems (e.g., T3000, Mark VIe).
• Leadership: Proven experience leading technical teams during major overhauls and shutdowns.
• Location & Language: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh. Full professional fluency in both English and Arabic (written and spoken) is mandatory.
