What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Act as the primary escalation point for Cyber Security Analyst I technicians and provide coaching
• Monitor computer networks for security issues and respond accordingly, including managing firewall rules and anti-virus tools
• Investigate, document, and assess security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents
• Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure
• Develop best practices for IT security and stay updated on industry trends
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a security analyst role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• Experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of network management principles and systems administration of Windows and Linux operating systems
  
  

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Additional certifications in security-related disciplines (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP)
• Working knowledge of Palo Alto or Fortinet firewalls, Microsoft Azure, or similar technologies
• Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities effectively
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
