- Monitor and respond to alerts from Defender for Cloud, ensuring timely containment and remediation
- Execute vulnerability scanning and remediation, tracking Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) items
- Configure, monitor, and maintain Azure Firewall and Network Security Groups for boundary protection
- Support compliance efforts by gathering evidence for FedRAMP and HIPAA control validation
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Azure Security Engineer, Administrator, or SOC Analyst
- Deep experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, and Azure Firewall
- Proven experience managing POA&M processes and vulnerability scanning
- Strong understanding of Azure networking, NSGs, and firewall rulesets
- Familiarity with FedRAMP, HIPAA, and NIST 800-53 frameworks
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (strongly preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Purview and integrating Sentinel with Logic Apps for SOAR response
- Familiarity with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates for secure configuration automation
- Background in healthcare or federal security operations
- Additional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CCSP
