About The Role
We're looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to lead development on SalonJobs, a high-impact, experimental, and ambitious attempt to become the de facto hiring solution for the beauty and wellness industry. In this role you will work across the entire stack to shape a product that is early, rapidly evolving, and on the path toward national expansion.
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at Mangomint, you'll join a small, highly motivated team where your impact will be immediately visible. You'll have meaningful ownership over the features you build and the decisions that shape them. This position is perfect for someone who thrives with autonomy, values flexibility, communicates proactively, and is excited to build a product within a stable, well-supported startup environment.
In the Senior Fullstack Engineer role at Mangomint you will:
- Own major technical decisions across the stack, including architecture, frameworks, and infrastructure, while remaining a hands-on contributor
- Take projects from idea to production quickly, supporting fast iteration as we expand nationally and work toward product-market fit
- Work in short, focused cycles that prioritize learning and experimentation, contributing ideas that help shape the product as it evolves
- Take ownership of the features you build, from planning and implementation to monitoring and refinement
- Partner closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and DevOps to bring new ideas to life and move quickly in a fast-learning environment
- Frontend: TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Shadcn/ui
- Backend: Node, Drizzle ORM, PostgreSQL
- Infra: Supabase, Vercel, Algolia, Pipedream
- Tooling & Testing: Docker, Playwright, Sentry
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in web development
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, with deep experience in modern SPA frameworks such as React, Next.js (preferred), or Vue.js
- Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and taking ownership of outcomes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work directly with founders and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience collaborating directly with designers and turning Figma concepts into polished, interactive products that delight users
- Strong product sense and an interest in how UX impacts user behavior and product adoption
- Have experience working in a startup environment or building a product from scratch
- Experience leading projects or small teams, setting technical direction and reviewing code
- Competitive compensation
- Employee stock options
- Comprehensive health coverage (health, dental, vision, life & disability)
- Generous monthly wellness budget (gym, massage, etc.)
- Premium Calm app & One Medical membership
- Flexible, unlimited PTO
- 401k, HSA and FSA plans available (no current match)
Compensation Range: $160K - $180K
