A leading global trading firm is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to help design, optimize and maintain the high-performance networks that power its proprietary trading systems. This is a hands-on engineering role where your impact will be felt from day one: the efficiency, speed, and reliability of the network directly influence the firm’s trading performance and competitiveness.

You will join a highly collaborative, engineering-driven environment where reducing complexity, improving stability and scaling global infrastructure are core priorities. The role offers broad technical ownership—no silos—and exposure to a wide range of cutting-edge network technologies across data centers, colocation sites, low-latency environments, and WAN architecture.

What You’ll Do

• Engineer and support low-latency network solutions for a high-performance trading environment.
• Identify, design and implement optimizations to improve speed, reliability, and efficiency.
• Automate network operations to eliminate manual processes and enhance consistency.
• Assist with planned migrations, expansions, hardware refreshes and software upgrades.
• Ensure the correct functioning and performance of the firm’s global WAN across data centers and colocation facilities.
• Contribute to network capacity planning, connectivity enhancements, and traffic flow optimization.
• Help drive environment standardization and support an Infrastructure-as-Code approach across the network stack.
• Partner closely with technical and trading teams to ensure the network meets real-time business needs.

Who You Are

• Passionate about low-latency networking, performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning.
• Strong practical knowledge of network transport and routing protocols (Multicast, OSPF, BGP, TCP/UDP).
• Comfortable working in multi-vendor environments (e.g., Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto).
• Motivated to grow or deepen your Python automation skillset.
• Excellent communicator, able to clearly convey technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, hands-on, and eager to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
