Senior GCP Data Engineer for Teradata to BigQuery Migration

We have a new urgent GCP Data Engineer opportunity open to support a migration initiative from Teradata to Cerebro (BigQuery). This role requires a hands-on developer who can collaborate closely with our data and reporting teams to ensure smooth repointing and validation of Power BI reports.

Job Description:

• Support the migration of reporting data sources from Teradata to Cerebro (BigQuery).
• Repoint and validate existing Power BI reports to new BigQuery data models.
• Design and develop new tables, views, and queries in BigQuery to support migrated reports.
• Conduct QA validation to ensure data accuracy and performance parity post-migration.
• Collaborate with the BI and infrastructure teams to optimize data pipelines and ensure seamless integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to query performance, permissions, or connectivity.
