What You’ll Do
- Own the development of new and existing Curate components using Rust, TypeScript, Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Develop secure, well-tested, and high-performance code aligned with Vision Group’s engineering standards.
- Ship features regularly and consistently, with minimal guidance.
- Participate in and continuously improve the on-call process to support production services.
- Recommend and advocate for improvements in performance, security, and engineering quality.
- Contribute to a high-throughput, event-based system in modern, statically compiled languages.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience.
- Hands-on experience with statically compiled languages (Rust, Go, or C++) in a cloud environment.
- Familiarity with TypeScript and React (a plus, not mandatory).
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, and expertise in monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with experience writing and maintaining technical documentation.
- Prior experience working in a globally distributed, remote organization.
- The ability to work independently, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and maintain high standards.
