We're GolfForever - we help golfers play better and stay pain-free through targeted fitness training. Our platform combines specialized equipment with guided workout programs delivered through our app. Whether it's adding 20 yards off the tee, eliminating chronic back pain, or just playing 18 holes without fatigue - we help golfers get back to enjoying the game.
The Role
We're looking for a Full Stack Developer to build features and help shape our technical direction. You'll spend most of your time coding, such as building new features, optimizing performance, and fixing issues across our stack. As part of a small team, you'll also weigh in on architectural decisions and help us move faster.
You'll be:
- Building features across our Rails back-end, React/Next.js front-end, and Shopify storefront
- Implementing conversion optimization experiments and improving user flows
- Integrating third-party services (payment processors, analytics, affiliate tracking)
- Optimizing application performance and addressing technical debt
- Participating in code reviews and technical discussions with the team
- Contributing to architectural decisions as we scale
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 2+ years professional experience building production web applications
- Strong Ruby on Rails experience - comfortable working in a mature codebase
- Solid frontend skills with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Mobile development exposure (Flutter)
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Self-directed and communicative in a remote environment
- Can work EST hours or have significant overlap for team collaboration
Nice to Have:
- E-commerce platform experience (Shopify)
- Subscription business systems (Stripe, RevenueCat)
- Analytics implementation (Mixpanel)
- AWS services (Lambda, S3, RDS)
