We are looking for an experienced SQL Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing database systems, writing complex queries, and supporting application development with robust and efficient data solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and data models.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Ensure data accuracy, performance, and integrity across multiple systems.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate databases with applications.
- Analyze and optimize slow-running queries for performance improvements.
- Implement database security, backup, and recovery strategies.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database-related issues in production and staging environments.
- Work closely with analysts, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality database solutions.
- 2+ years of experience as an SQL Developer or Database Engineer.
- Proficient in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong understanding of database design principles, normalization, and data modeling.
- Experience with query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with stored procedures, views, and triggers.
- Hands-on experience with data migration, ETL processes, and report generation.
- Knowledge of version control tools (Git) and collaboration in agile teams.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, etc.)
- Familiarity with Python, Golang, or PHP for database integration.
- Understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence tools.
- Experience in cloud-based database management (AWS RDS, GCP SQL, Azure SQL).
