Role & Responsibilities
Project Execution: Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards
Design & Development: Design and develop electrical circuits and systems tailored to eVTOL propulsion
Testing & Measurement: Conduct rigorous electrical testing and measurements to validate system performance
Tool Proficiency: Utilize and master a variety of tools and technologies, including MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, Python, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Git, and GitLab. Commitment to learning new tools and technologies as needed
English language skills in speech and writing are required;
German language skill is a plus
Willingness to learn German once job offer is confirmed is required
Requirements
Willingness to relocate to Austria (Europe)
Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the aviation industry
Specialized Knowledge: Strong background in eVTOL solutions or propulsion development, testing, and validation
Technical Skills:
Power Electronics: Expertise in power electronic systems, including inverters and motor controllers
Battery Management Systems (BMS): Experience in the design and integration of BMS
High Voltage Systems: Proficiency in high voltage systems and safety protocols
Thermal Management: Knowledge of thermal management for electrical components
Signal Processing: Understanding of signal processing techniques
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC): Experience in EMC testing and compliance
Systems Engineering: Familiarity with systems engineering principles
Safety Standards: Knowledge of aviation safety standards and regulations (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254)
Model-Based Design: Experience with model-based design using MATLAB/Simulink
Prototyping: Skills in rapid prototyping and iterative development
Communication Systems: Understanding of aerospace communication systems and protocols
Project Management: Ability to lead projects and manage cross-functional teams
