Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Director to lead our dynamic team in Bangkok, Thailand. As the Technical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of game and web applications using Java, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a technical architect, particularly in large-scale web platforms for e-commerce or fintech industries, and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of project managers, product owners, business analysts, developers, and DevOps engineers.
- Oversee the development and implementation of game and web applications, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, requirements, and timelines.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in our development processes and technologies.
- Manage resources effectively, including onshore and offshore teams and outsourced partners.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, particularly in the gambling industry.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, preferably as a technical architect.
- Extensive experience with Java, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
- Proven track record of architecting and developing large-scale web platforms, particularly for e-commerce or fintech industries.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with offshore teams and outsourced partners in a distributed development environment.
- Prior experience in the gambling industry is highly preferred.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Thai is a plus.
- Must be willing to relocate to Bangkok, Thailand.
