Job Description
We are looking for a Software QA Tester to help ensure the quality and reliability of our patient engagement software platform. As part of our agile team, you'll have opportunities to take ownership of projects and gain comprehensive exposure to healthcare technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming support tickets, perform triage and initial resolution, and escalate complex issues to software engineers
- Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright and Jest
- Conduct thorough manual testing to minimize defects reaching production
- Document and communicate detailed test results to cross-functional teams
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional software testing experience
- Proficiency with test case management and technical documentation
- Experience with bug tracking systems (Jira Service Desk or similar)
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright, React Testing Library, Jest)
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, or similar)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related STEM field
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration
- Experience with Agile/Scrum
- Experience working under HIPAA / working with PHI
