Business Systems Analyst (VBA)

About The Opportunity

A technology services organization operating in IT services and software development focused on enterprise automation and reporting solutions. We build scalable Excel/Access-based automation and integrations that streamline finance, operations, and analytics workflows for mid-market and enterprise clients. This is a fully remote role based in India, delivering high-impact VBA solutions and business requirements across distributed teams.

Role & Responsibilities

• Elicit, document and translate stakeholder needs into clear functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria for VBA-driven solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain VBA/Excel automation including macros, userforms, modules, and automation routines to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Create and optimize SQL queries and Access/Excel data models to source, transform, and validate business data for reporting and automation.
• Author test plans, execute unit and regression tests, and resolve defects to ensure reliable deployments and low production defects.
• Deploy solutions, manage version control, and provide end-user support, training materials, and documentation for handoffs and adoption.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA to prioritize enhancements, scope change requests, and deliver scheduled releases.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Candidate must know Macros and is able to create Macros using VBA.

Should Know H /V Look ups and very well versed with Advance Excel

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Proven track record delivering VBA/Excel automation and business-analysis artifacts in a software or finance environment.
• Experience producing clear documentation, runbooks, and end-user training materials for non-technical audiences.
