Compliance Policy Specialist in SINGAPORE

We're seeking an exceptional AML Compliance Policy Specialist to join our team at Bybit. This role is open to be based in Singapore, Hong Kong or our Global HQ in Dubai.

Position Overview:

The Compliance Policy Specialist will develop, implement, and maintain policies to ensure regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include assessing regulatory changes, conducting risk assessments, and providing compliance guidance to cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates will have expertise in virtual currency regulations, strong analytical skills, and clear communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures tailored to the virtual currency industry, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) requirements.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the company's operations, providing guidance and recommendations as needed.
• Conduct periodic risk assessments to identify areas of potential compliance risk and implement measures to mitigate such risks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Operations, and Risk Management, to ensure alignment on compliance objectives and initiatives.
• Provide training and support to employees on compliance policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a subject matter expert on compliance matters, responding to inquiries from regulators, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in compliance and incorporate relevant insights into the company's compliance framework.
• Assist with regulatory filings, examinations, and audits as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., CAMS, CFE) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or related fields, with specific exposure to the virtual currency industry preferred.
• Strong understanding of AML/KYC regulations and their application to virtual currency businesses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex regulatory concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to completion.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in EU, Dubai, Turkey and other relevant jurisdictions is a plus.
