What is unique about you?


As the Executive Assistant to a hands-on CEO, you thrive on being involved in various aspects of the business, serving as the go-to person in the office and collaborating with employees from all areas of the business. Your outstanding people skills and emotional intelligence allow you to cultivate strong relationships, discerning when to adapt, be accommodating, facilitate access to the CEO, and when to assert boundaries firmly. With a packed schedule, you excel at intricate diary management, seamlessly coordinating national and international trips, as well as overseeing board and committee meetings with meticulous organisation and foresight. Preference will be given to candidates who possess a strong interest or background in the hospitality industry, food and beverage space or hotels. Additionally, having a social conscience, aligning with the company's values, and fitting well with the organisational culture will be pivotal factors in the selection process for this role. This is a role is for a seasoned Senior Executive Assistant with a proven history of effectively supporting senior executives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate will thrive alongside an executive who operates at full throttle, matching their pace and passion for the work at hand.


A snapshot of your role….


  • Managing extensive diaries, coordinating both virtual and in-person meetings globally, and meticulously preparing comprehensive itineraries, flights, accommodation, and briefing notes
  • Coordinating interstate board meetings, collecting, and distributing board papers, overseeing all travel arrangements, and serving as the primary point of contact for board members, addressing queries and troubleshooting as needed
  • You'll collaborate closely with the ELT, providing support with meeting coordination, drafting agendas and minutes, and offering ad-hoc assistance for various projects as needed
  • Office management, though light touch (approximately 15%) of the role, is nevertheless crucial. This includes anything ranging from maintaining office supplies to overseeing office relocations when necessary
  • Using platforms like Jira, OneNote, and Teams is crucial for efficiently managing projects and facilitating communication between you, the CEO, and the Executive Leadership Team
