Job Description
Our client is seeking a Test Analyst in India for a 6-month contract opportunity. This is a remote role.
Professional Experience
a) 3+ years of practical experience in software quality assurance and testing roles, including:
I. Test case design, execution, and results documentation for business-critical systems.
II. Experience working in structured testing environments with traceability and documentation requirements (e.g., in the public sector, regulated industries, or enterprise IT).
III. Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
b) Hands-on experience with:
I. Using test management tools such as Azure DevOps.
II. Defect logging and lifecycle tracking using tools like Azure DevOps.
III. Testing web applications, APIs, data flows, and enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM, etc.).
IV. Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and liaising with business stakeholders.
V. Executing regression, integration, and data-driven tests.
Certifications
Required (minimum one):
I. ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation Level (CTFL)
II. ISEB Software Testing Certification
III. Certified Agile Tester (CAT) (if operating in Agile environments)
b) Preferred:
I. ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst
II. ITIL Foundation (for understanding of ITSM)
III. Training or certification in automation tools (e.g. UFT) or performance testing (e.g., LoadRunner)
