Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Engineer/Data Analyst with expertise in the Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) to develop, validate, and maintain data marts and databases that support business operations. The ideal candidate will focus on data design, database architecture, metadata management, dashboard development, and reporting within a data management environment.

This role requires monitoring and troubleshooting data reports and dashboards, ensuring optimal performance, accuracy, and availability of data analytics solutions. The candidate will also work on corrective and preventive maintenance while utilizing Business Intelligence tools for data analysis across multiple data repositories. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for creating DRD/ER diagrams for both new and existing dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, validate, and maintain data marts and databases to support analytics.

Design and implement data models, database architecture, and metadata repositories.

Develop interactive dashboards and reports using MS BI Stack (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS) and Power BI.

Perform ETL processes using MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for data import and transformation.

Optimize and troubleshoot SSRS reports, SSAS cubes, and data models for performance issues.

Monitor data reports, dashboards, and analytics workflows for accuracy and reliability.

Provide corrective and preventive maintenance to ensure data system stability.

Create DRD/ER diagrams for new and existing data solutions.

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and BI solutions.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in developing and managing data analytics platforms.

Proficiency in MS BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) is a must.

Strong SQL development skills for querying and managing databases.

Expertise in ETL processes using SSIS and statistical reporting using MS Excel and MS Access (or similar tools).

Understanding of database fundamentals, data modeling, and data warehouse design.

Experience in developing reports and dashboards using SSRS and Power BI.

Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms is a plus.
