PS Core Network Engineer (NFVI Solutions)

Join our Swiss Core Network team as a PS Core Network Engineer, focusing on NFVI solutions deployment and support in a dynamic, international environment.

Main Activities and Tasks:

• Plan, design, and deliver Packet Core NFV solutions (5GC, PCF, PCRF).
• Deploy, integrate, and support solutions on NFVI platforms.
• Provide technical expertise during major network deployments, upgrades, and expansions.
• Support testing, validation, and rollout of new core network products and features.
• Act as the technical interface for customer engineering teams.

Required Education & Trainings:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
• Relevant certifications in networking, virtualization, or NFV platforms are a plus.

Required Experience:

• 3+ years’ experience in network operations, engineering, or delivery projects.
• Hands-on experience with 5GC Packet Core products and NFVI environments.
• Familiarity with PCF/PCRF and VoLTE/VoNR call flows.

Specific Skills & Technical Knowledge:

• Solid IP networking skills (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP).
• Linux/UNIX systems expertise.
• Knowledge of telco cloud, virtualization, and container platforms.
• Strong communication skills, adaptability, and customer-facing experience.
• Eligibility to work in Switzerland.
