Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Experience in working effectively and in partnership with the supply chain and subject matter experts and relationship development
- Experience in producing detailed reports and presentations for a range of DWP and supply chain stakeholders
- Ability to make risk-based decisions to determine the most appropriate course of action
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, confident in communicating with internal and external stakeholders at different levels of seniority, engaging and collaborating to build effective networks in order to deliver goals and objectives
- Knowledge of Supplier and Customer Relationship Management techniques and their application
- Proven ability in articulating data and forecasts to stakeholders with commercial acumen
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including SharePoint, Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience in a Technical Security function role
- General understanding of HM Government Security

Hybrid Working

Selection process details
This vacancy is using Success Profiles (opens in a new window), and will assess your Behaviours, Strengths and Experience.
After submission of the first stage of your application you will be invited to complete a Civil Service Judgement Test If you successfully pass the test, you will be invited to complete the final stage of the application.
Please complete the online tests as soon as possible (within 24-48 hours is recommended), the closing date for the tests is 23:55 on 24/11/2025. If you fail to complete the online test before the deadline your application will be withdrawn. Guidance for the test will be available when you are invited to take the test. Our online test supplier will be performing scheduled maintenance between 4:00pm and 7:00pm on 16th November 2025. There will be up to 1 hour during this time where candidates will not be able to access tests.

Impact for candidates
Candidates who are taking a test when the downtime starts will have their test paused. They will be able to pick up where they left off after the downtime. They can do this by accessing the test again from their application centre.

STAGE 1 - APPLICATION & SIFT
As part of the application process you will be asked to provide a Personal Statement of no more than 1000 words against the essential criteria as outlined above. You will also be asked to provide a short CV.
Your CV should be fairly short and just evidence very brief details of your work history and Qualifications.
While your CV is not formally scored it will be used to validate the evidence of your Personal Statement.

STAGE 2 - INTERVIEW
All candidates who are successful at the sift stage will undertake a single virtual video interview.
There, you will be assessed against the experience listed in the essential criteria. You will also be asked Behaviour questions.
You will also be asked an additional question to validate your knowledge which will be measured against the essential criteria as specified in the vacancy. Your will also be asked some strength questions.
