Scrum Master / Agile Business Analyst – Data Observability & Integration Projects

3–6 Years

Bangalore office or Remote

We are seeking a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) with 3–6 years of experience to drive agile delivery across data observability, data engineering, and integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile principles, hands-on experience in data-focused environments, and the ability to bridge communication between technical teams and business stakeholders through effective business analysis.

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Reviews).
• Ensure Agile principles and Scrum practices are followed across teams.
• Coach and guide the team towards continuous improvement and high performance.
• Remove impediments and protect the team from external interferences.
• Track sprint progress through Azure DevOps preferably or similar Agile tools, maintaining transparency of delivery.
• Work closely with the Product Owner to maintain and groom the product backlog.
• Support release planning and coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth delivery.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical user stories for the data engineering team.
• Work on data observability use cases – including data quality, lineage, monitoring, and alerting frameworks.
• Support data integration initiatives involving APIs, ETL pipelines, and real-time streaming solutions.
• Ensure data reliability, consistency, and accuracy across systems.
• Create data flow diagrams, source-to-target mappings, and system interface documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and analysts to validate technical feasibility of requirements.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM or equivalent Agile certification) – mandatory.
• 3–6 years of professional experience, including at least 2+ years as Scrum Master and 2+ years as Analyst.
• Proven experience in Data Observability (tools like Monte Carlo, Databand, Bigeye, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of Data Integration / ETL processes (Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, Airflow, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Agile tools (Azure DevOps).
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with distributed teams in fast-paced Agile environments.
• Exposure to data analytics, data governance, or cloud data platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) is a plus.

• Knowledge of DataOps practices and automation.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, or API-based data systems.
• Experience in Agile at Scale (SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus).
• Background in telecom, finance, or enterprise data domains.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Agile or Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM I/II).
