About The Role

The Technical Lead - Spec at Kimberly-Clark is a pivotal role focused on advancing product development through innovative technological solutions. This position involves designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge systems and components that enhance the company's product offerings. The role requires a strong understanding of full-stack development, cloud technologies, and AI integrations, particularly in the context of generative AI and agentic workflows. As a key member of the technical team, you will collaborate closely with AI researchers and cross-functional teams to create scalable, real-time APIs and user interfaces that support intelligent agent interactions and autonomous behaviors. Your expertise will ensure that our research and design efforts meet high scientific and engineering standards, while also aligning with strategic business objectives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, industry experience, and soft skills, including:

• Minimum of 7+ years in full-stack development with a focus on cloud-based solutions and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI services on cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Next.js, React, Python, and FastAPI REST frameworks.
• Experience with open-source frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and MLOps best practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to document complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  
  

Nice-to-have skills include Node.js, cloud-native DevOps, agentic orchestration, prompt chaining, latency tuning, and experience working with vector databases like Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma, or Weaviate, as well as GraphQL API development.

Responsibilities

The core responsibilities of the Technical Lead - Spec include:

• Design and develop front-end interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Next.js that integrate seamlessly with back-end systems and AI workflows.
• Build and maintain scalable, robust APIs supporting generative AI interactions, agent communication, and real-time data processing.
• Create dynamic user interfaces for agents with access to tools, reasoning flows, and autonomous behaviors.
• Integrate advanced AI frameworks and services such as LangChain, Azure AI Foundry, Hugging Face, and vector databases to enhance AI capabilities.
• Develop real-time APIs utilizing REST and GraphQL protocols to facilitate low-latency agent interactions, tool execution, and memory management.
• Deploy, monitor, and scale services efficiently using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, adhering to MLOps standards.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and cross-functional teams on multi-agent orchestration experiments and innovative AI solutions.
• Ensure all research and development activities conform to scientific and engineering standards, while managing strategic project plans and budgets.
