Role Description
This is a remote role for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The CTO will lead the strategic direction of the company’s technology initiatives, oversee software development and architecture, and ensure the scalability and performance of the platform. This role encompasses managing product development lifecycles, streamlining IT strategies, and contributing visionary leadership to sustain innovation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to achieving BarCoded Inc.'s technological growth objectives.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Software Development with the following tech stack: Java, Spring Boot, React Native, SQL / PostgreSQL / TimescaleDB.
- Experience working in a startup environment (being a founder/co-founder/ex-founder is most recommended).
- Experience in Product Development and technology innovation.
- Leadership abilities with a focus on collaboration and strategic decision-making.
- Familiarity with wearable technology and fitness industry applications is a plus.
- Having a degree/pursuing a degree related to technology is recommended but not imperative.
