Role Description

This is a contract-based remote role for a Power Platform Developer with FlexiSolutions.

You will design, implement, and maintain end-to-end Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents (Copilot Studio), supported by Dataverse. Your work will include integration with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and external or third-party applications and data sources.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and building custom applications (Canvas and Model-Driven) using Power Apps
• Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and data models
• Creating workflow automations using Power Automate to streamline operations
• Designing chatbots and copilots in Power Virtual Agents / Copilot Studio
• Implementing light Dynamics 365 customizations and Power Platform extensions
• Integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365 and external APIs, data sources, and services
• Managing Dataverse schema, relationships, and security roles
• Ensuring compliance with governance, security, and best-practice frameworks
• Collaborating with clients and project teams to translate business needs into functional solutions
• Supporting testing, deployment, and knowledge transfer for production handover

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing solutions across the Power Platform (Power Apps, Automate, BI, and Virtual Agents)
• Experience integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and third-party systems or APIs
• Strong skills in Dataverse or SQL database design and management
• Familiarity with custom connectors, Power Fx, JavaScript, or C# plug-ins
• Understanding of application lifecycle management (ALM) using Solutions and Azure DevOps
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Microsoft Certifications (Required / Preferred)

Candidates should hold at least one of the following (or be in the process of obtaining it):

• PL-100: Microsoft Power Platform App Maker
• PL-200: Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant
• PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst
• PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer
• PL-600: Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect (advantageous)

Applicants without certification but with strong, demonstrable project experience may be considered; however, certified professionals are prioritized.

Contract Details

• Type: Contract / per project (remote)
• Location: South Africa (work remotely with international teams)
• Start window: Approximately 2 months (talent pipeline for upcoming client projects)
• Working hours: Flexible, with overlap to CET / SAST time zones
