- Design, implement, and maintain security controls across network, infrastructure, data, and application layers
- Perform risk assessments and contribute to data protection strategies for both structured and unstructured data
- Assist in penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify and address security risks
- Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, working closely with Security Operations Center (SOC) and Incident Response (IR) teams
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related roles
- Able to work independently without employer assistance in obtaining or maintaining employment authorization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field
- Proficiency in Python or Java for automation and tool development
- Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite and Metasploit
- Knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, and Zero Trust Networking principles
- Experience with securing web and mobile applications, APIs, and microservices
