- $50-60/hr, DOE on W2 (some flexibility for 1099)
- Fully Remote; West Coast is preferred, but will consider anywhere in the US
- Possibility of FTE conversion
SUMMARY:

Immediate need for a REMOTE PHP Developer to work in an enterprise-level LAMP stack environment to develop, test, and maintain a scalable, robust SaaS customer facing web application. Position will be 8-12+ month contract.
Qualifications include:
- 8+ years of full stack software development experience in an enterprise environment
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience using PHP in a LAMP environment with MySQL (MariaDB)
- Skilled in web application, database development, and security related best practices in an AWS environment
- Knowledge of application security or OWASP Top 10 and remediation options, and hands-on DDD development skills & experience
- Significant and varied professional experience in leading SAAS and web applications especially at the enterprise level – a plus
- Linux / Unix CLI experience is a huge plus, preferably Bash
- Familiarity with alternative storage technologies and tools such as: Redis, OpenSearch (Elasticsearch) and Beanstalk/SQS/SNS
- Experience in PHP frameworks like Laravel/Lumen or Symfony is a plus
- 1+ year of experience with Docker or Podman
- 1+ year of experience with software architecture and design
- General understanding of security practices and threats as it pertains to web development
- Familiar with design patterns and development practices
- Deep understanding of Agile principles and processes
- Ability to adapt with changing technologies & frameworks
- Ability to learn new skills, tools, development kits, frameworks, etc.
- Appreciation for well-documented code and website / web service security
