Fractional Chief Technical Officer – Venture Studio
Join our forward-thinking venture studio as a fractional Chief Technical Officer (CTO). We empower founders and startups by providing hands-on advisory and technical due diligence. Our model offers all the benefits of a traditional CTO, with a focus on high-leverage expertise and founder-first guidance.
Role Highlights:
- Evaluate and validate the technology stacks, architecture, and scalability of early-stage portfolio companies.
- Advise founders and internal teams on best practices in software, AI, product roadmaps, and tech talent strategy.
- Serve as a thought partner to technical teams, helping solve complex challenges and anticipate scaling issues.
- Contribute to investment decisions and due diligence, de-risking both technical execution and future fundraising.
- Collaborate as a core C-level advisor alongside legal, investment, ops, and finance leaders.
Compensation:
Fees and equity in portfolio companies. Fully remote, part-time, and contract/fractional role.
Ideal Experience:
- 10+ years in technical leadership (startup CTO, VP Engineering, or Principal Engineer).
- Deep experience with cloud, SaaS, security, AI/ML architecture, and product development lifecycles.
- Acumen for assessing and guiding early-stage teams—both technically and strategically.
