Senior Experiential Designer – Immersive Visitor Experiences (UK or EU / Fully Remote with Travel)

Our client, a world-renowned creative studio specializing in immersive and experiential design, is seeking an accomplished Senior Experiential Designer to join their talented international team. The Role
As Senior Experiential Designer, you will take a leading role in conceptualising, designing, and directing immersive environments that bring stories to life. You’ll work closely with a diverse mix of in-house specialists and freelance partners, ensuring the creative vision is delivered with precision, innovation, and emotional impact.
You’ll also act as a trusted creative partner to clients—guiding them through the design process, building strong relationships, and exceeding expectations from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead creative development of immersive and narrative-driven visitor experiences
- Translate client visions into compelling spatial and experiential designs
- Hands on design in your software of choice will be a daily part of this role
- Direct and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including production, lighting, technical, and graphic designers
- Develop narrative visitor journeys through text, visuals, and sketches (hand-drawn, CG, or model-based)
- Liaise with architects and contractors to integrate designs within architectural and spatial constraints
- Present concepts and proposals to clients with clarity and confidence
- Oversee project delivery to ensure quality, cohesion, and innovation
About You
The ideal candidate will bring both creative leadership and hands-on design expertise to the table. You’re a storyteller, a problem-solver, and a passionate advocate for immersive experiences.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of industry-specific experience in experiential or immersive design
- Proven track record designing for leading museums, attractions, or global brands
- Strong portfolio showcasing spatial and narrative design excellence
- Full proficiency in 3D design software of your choice
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary creative teams
- Understanding of architectural processes and spatial integration
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Willingness to travel internationally for project work
- Based in the UK or EU
