Job Description

Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Location: Remote within Canada

Employment: Full-time, permanent role

Company: GeneLean360° — the first physician-led, genetics-based weight loss platform

Here’s your opportunity to architect the intelligence backbone of the world’s first physician-powered genetic weight loss platform.

About GeneLean360°

GeneLean360° is the first physician-led, genetics-based weight loss platform built for women over 30.

We have generated multi-million-dollar revenue in under twelve months by replacing guesswork with genetic precision, and we are only getting started.

We serve hundreds of clients through our proprietary 12 Genetic Avatars™ framework, delivering exceptional transformation and retention. Now we are evolving into an AI-driven SaaS company and need a systems builder who can connect our data, intelligence, and automation into one living platform.

Our mission: transform women’s health through genomics.

Your mission: turn our data and science into a scalable AI engine that learns, automates, and personalizes at scale.

Your Mission

Design the brain of GeneLean360°. You will own the full stack of applied intelligence, from data ingestion to machine-learning models to automation workflows, ensuring our genetic insights flow seamlessly into real-time recommendations, supplement protocols, and coaching dashboards.

You will work directly with the CEO to build, test, and scale the technology foundation that will power our SaaS platform and practitioner licensing model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and train ML models that interpret genomic, metabolic, and behavioral data to generate personalized health recommendations
  • Architect secure, compliant data pipelines (AWS, GCP, or Azure) that integrate genetic APIs, wearable data, and client behavior streams
  • Develop and deploy AI workflows through n8n, LangChain, or FastAPI, connecting models to marketing, fulfillment, and coaching systems
  • Create real-time personalization engines that adapt supplement, meal, and lifestyle recommendations based on client progress
  • Integrate LLM-based features (AI coach, report summaries, automated insights) within client and practitioner dashboards
  • Implement model versioning and monitoring frameworks (MLflow or DVC) for transparency and scalability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into technical architecture
  • Document systems, write clean code, and build with future scalability and compliance in mind

You’ll Thrive Here If You
  • Have 2+ years of experience in AI, ML engineering, data science, or automation architecture (healthtech or SaaS preferred)
  • Are fluent in Python, TensorFlow or PyTorch, SQL, and data-flow tools such as n8n, Airflow, or Dagster
  • Can design APIs that connect models to real-world applications
  • Have hands-on experience deploying AI models securely in production environments
  • Are comfortable balancing rapid prototyping with data-privacy discipline (HIPAA, PIPEDA, GDPR)
  • Communicate clearly, think like a systems architect, and enjoy turning complexity into clarity
  • Believe in GeneLean360°’s mission to redefine women’s health through science and technology

Bonus: Experience with genomics datasets, nutrition or health personalization engines, and SaaS infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, Vercel)

Why Join GeneLean360°
  • Work directly with Dr. Phyllis Pobee, physician-founder and category leader redefining genetic weight loss
  • Build the AI brain behind a proven, multi-million-dollar platform scaling to SaaS
  • Shape the company’s AI and automation foundation — the groundwork a future CTO will inherit
  • Fully remote, fast-moving, and impact-driven culture
  • Competitive compensation, performance bonuses, and long-term growth opportunities
How to Apply

Email [email protected]

Subject line: Artificial Intelligence Engineer — [Your Name]

Include:

  • Your resume or LinkedIn profile
  • A short paragraph about an AI or automation project you built, the problem it solved, and the measurable impact

(Optional) GitHub or portfolio links

Bonus: Mention your preferred stack and availability for a paid 2–4 hour test project

In Summary

This is a foundational Canadian R&D role that bridges artificial intelligence, data science, and healthtech automation.

You will be the architect who builds the intelligence core of a category-defining company — creating technology that transforms how women achieve lasting weight loss through the power of genetics.

GeneLean360° is committed to building a diverse, inclusive and equitable team. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and encourage those who view themselves as a strong fit—even if you don’t check every box—to apply. Please note: Only those candidates whose experience and qualifications most closely align with the role will be contacted for next steps.
