Full-time Architect

Edward Tucker Architects, Inc., located in the heart of Huntington, West Virginia, is seeking a talented full-time Architect to join our thriving team. Primary Responsibilities

· Design Excellence: Develop compelling conceptual designs and effectively communicate ideas through sketches and renderings.

· Technical Expertise: Produce detailed, coordinated construction documents that align with regulatory requirements, including NFPA, IBC, ADAAG and FGI Guidelines.

· Collaboration: Coordinate with consulting engineers and work closely with clients, the design team, and construction team to bring projects to life.

· Project Management: Establish schedules, meet deadlines, coordinate a team and ensure seamless project execution.

· Construction Administration: Conduct field visits and oversee construction progress with precision and care.

Your Skills & Expertise

· Proficiency in software such as Revit, Enscape, Lumion, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.

· Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical design skills.

· A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and commitment to efficiency and quality.

Preferred Skills: CSI specification writing.

Qualifications

· Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited institution (Required).

· 5-10 years of professional experience, including 3 years of Revit experience (Required).

· Ability to commute to or relocate to Huntington, WV 25701 (Relocation assistance available).
