The role of the Workplace Security Engineer is central to safeguarding the integrity and security of ING’s digital workspace. This position focuses on the proactive enhancement of security protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering advancements in workplace technology to mitigate potential security threats.
Maintain and enhance security within Microsoft 365, focusing on Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, and DLP.
Collaborate with SaaS vendors to integrate new security features and customize solutions.
Automate security and compliance processes to improve reliability and safety.
Provide expert third-line support and incident management to ensure global service continuity.
Coordinate with major tech suppliers such as Microsoft and JAMF to optimize service delivery.
At least five years of IT security experience, preferably in the financial sector or other regulated corporate environments.
Expert in managing, deploying, and maintaining Microsoft 365 security technologies in a cloud environment.
Holds relevant certifications, including CISSP, CISM, or specialized Microsoft 365 security credentials.
Effective at stakeholder management, capable of fostering strong relationships across all organizational levels.
Engages regularly with the tech community through conferences and meet-ups, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Full pension according to Dutch temp labour CLA
Bandwidth for a fixed term assignment: €5060 - €6800 gross per month, excl. holiday payments.
