AI Solution Architect

About the job

On behalf of our client, one of the Big Four firms in Greece, we are looking for an AI Solution Architect to join our team and work remotely (Greece Only) .

Role Summary

You will lead the design and implementation of high-impact AI/ML-driven solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for both architecture and delivery, working across data, cloud, model deployment and business stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

·        Define end-to-end AI solution architecture (data ingestion, feature store, modelling, deployment, monitoring).

·        Lead the development or selection of AI/ML features and systems.

·        Write and review scalable code, pipelines, services; ensure high quality and performance.

·        Optimize AI applications for inference latency, cost, throughput, scaling, production resilience.

·        Conduct architecture reviews, code/model reviews, mentor junior engineers and data scientists.

·        Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, product teams, business stakeholders to align AI solutions with business objectives.

·        Establish best practices for model deployment, versioning, monitoring, drift detection and retraining.

·        Contribute to pre-sales and solution shaping: technology selection, technical estimations, white-papers/architecture diagrams.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

·        Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or equivalent.

·        Minimum 5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data/platform architecture, or solution architecture in AI/ML production systems.

·        Strong experience with both relational and non-relational databases, data pipelines, ETL, and cloud data platforms (your data engineer background is useful here).

·        Proficiency in Python (or similar languages) and with ML/AI libraries/frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

·        Hands-on experience building and deploying ML/AI pipelines, working with cloud AI/data platforms (e.g., Azure ML, Azure OpenAI Service, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric is a plus).

·        Experience in architecture of scalable, resilient AI services (microservices, containers, orchestrations, CI/CD for ML, model versioning, monitoring).

·        Excellent verbal & written English communication skills; ability to articulate architecture clearly to business and technical stakeholders.

·        Greek national: fulfilled any military obligations (if applicable).
