🚀 We’re Hiring: Kafka Flink Architect | Bolingbrook, IL (Initial Remote, Relocation Required) 🚀

● Location: Bolingbrook, IL (Initial remote, must relocate onsite within 1-2 months)
● Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Mandatory Skills:
● Confluent Kafka & Kafka Connectors expertise
● Advanced knowledge of KSQL DB and Apache Flink for real-time stream processing
● Terraform and Confluent Terraform provider experience (Infrastructure-as-Code)
● Hands-on with Harness CI/CD pipelines or similar tools
● GCP networking knowledge including PSC, DNS, Firewalls, & enterprise security
● Cloud-native monitoring, observability, DR, HA, and multi-region design experience
● Agile/DevOps methodologies with production support background

Job Description:
● Architect, implement, and administer Confluent Cloud Kafka in production environments
● Design and optimize streaming architectures for capacity, scaling, and cost-efficiency
● Manage platform governance: schema registry, RBAC, audit logging, retention, compliance
● Lead disaster recovery and high availability solutions for streaming platforms
● Collaborate onsite for requirements gathering and design, coordinate offshore delivery teamsIdeal Candidate:
● Proven track record in architecting Kafka/Flink-based streaming platforms at scale
● Strong automation and cloud-native infrastructure skills (Terraform, CI/CD)
● Excellent communication and team collaboration skills in distributed teams
