About Your Pura Vida
Your Pura Vida helps people explore, plan, and relocate to Costa Rica with confidence and purpose. We create content that inspires people to live boldly and ethically abroad — from practical relocation advice to stories of transformation and cultural connection.
About the Role
We’re looking for a part-time YouTube & social editor/designer to help us expand our video and social presence. This is a great opportunity for an emerging creative who already has solid editing and design chops and wants to take more creative swings with mentorship and freedom to grow.
You’ll work closely with our founder, a longtime media executive and content strategist, to bring our stories to life across platforms.
Responsibilities
- Edit long-form YouTube videos and YouTube Shorts
- Design and edit social media posts for Instagram and Facebook
- Repurpose content across formats (Reels, carousels, thumbnails, teasers)
- Support other creative projects as needed
Ideal Candidate
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and/or CapCut
- Strong graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva)
- Able to tell a story through pacing, tone, and visuals
- Organized, communicative, and deadline-oriented
- Interested in travel, storytelling, and global living
Compensation & Schedule
- Approximately 15–20 hours per month
- Flexible hours; remote work
- Pay based on experience
