We’re looking for a Software Sustaining Engineer to join our R&D team in Brno. You’ll be working on embedded software for fire detection systems—products installed in buildings across the globe.
How You Will Do It
- Collaborate with global teams, customers, and technical support
- Develop, test and improve embedded software for our devices
- Work with modern tools and continuously grow your skills
- Drive issue resolution, documentation and continuous improvement
- Degree in Computer Science, Software, or Electrical Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in embedded software development
- Strong debugging, communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Windows (WPF/MFC) application development with C# and C/C++.
- Linux Qt experience will be a plus.
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git)
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Make, Python)
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Background in embedded systems
