Senior Server Test Engineer

Job description:

seeking a highly experienced and technically skilled Server Test Engineer to lead server hardware validation and support production operations. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality output, process efficiency, and alignment with global manufacturing standards.

Responsibilities:

• Execute comprehensive testing of server hardware components.
• Develop and maintain test plans, scripts, and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to resolve hardware issues.
• Analyze test results and deliver clear reports to stakeholders.
• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in server hardware testing.
• Strong knowledge of x86 server architecture, BIOS/UEFI, BMC, and server OSes (Windows Server, RHEL/SUSE, VMware).
• Familiarity with Redfish, PLDM, IPMI protocols.
• Basic networking skills (IP, PXE, DHCP, MAC address handling).
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with GPU/Arm-based server platforms.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional efforts.
