Part-time UX Designer (Remote)

About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented UX Designer to help craft intuitive, engaging, and user-centered digital experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user research, interaction design, and usability principles, and will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to translate user needs into practical design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and interviews to identify user needs and pain points.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that effectively communicate design ideas and interactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, etc.) throughout the design and development process.
• Translate research insights into user-friendly interfaces and experiences.
• Maintain and contribute to design systems, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
• Analyze user feedback and data to iterate on designs for continuous improvement.
• Stay up-to-date on UX best practices, tools, and emerging design trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience as a UX Designer, Interaction Designer, or similar role.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX design skills and process.
• Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with front-end development basics (HTML, CSS, JS) is a plus.
• Knowledge of UX metrics and analytics tools.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
