About the Role
We are looking for a Bilingual Help Desk Technician to join our technical support team, assisting hotel staff and hospitality partners with network and connectivity issues. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, strong troubleshooting ability, and excellent customer service skills.
The technician will provide remote support to resolve network issues related to Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and firewalls across major hotel brands such as Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming support calls and tickets from hotel staff and property management teams.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 network issues.
- Configure, support, and maintain hospitality network infrastructure (Wi-Fi, firewalls, switches, routers).
- Support connectivity and authentication issues related to captive portals and DPSK (Dynamic Pre-Shared Key) systems.
- Work with ISPs for provisioning, routing, and connectivity escalation.
- Document all interactions and resolutions in ticketing systems.
- Provide clear communication and follow-up with non-technical hotel personnel.
Technical Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in enterprise networking, ISP, or large-scale hospitality network support.
- Strong understanding of DHCP, NAT, routing, and firewall policies.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
- Ruckus ICX / SmartZone
- Aruba CX / Instant On / Aruba Central
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi configuration and captive portal troubleshooting.
- Ability to remotely diagnose hardware failures and guide on-site staff through resolutions.
- Experience with Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, or similar hotel network environments preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong networking background (CCNA-level knowledge or equivalent).
- Prior experience in help desk / technical support for hospitality or ISP.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- Excellent customer service attitude and analytical mindset.
