As the Lead Software Engineer - GNC - What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and implementing guidance & navigation software in COTS/autopilot frameworks
• Developing real-time embedded software (STM32, Jetson, Xilinx SoCs)
• Collaborating with airframe and hardware teams on system integration
• Supporting system verification, simulation, and flight testing

What You’ll Bring as the Lead Software Engineer - GNC

• 10+ years of experience in aerospace or defense software development
• Strong GNC and UAS background (ArduPilot, PX4, or similar)
• Deep understanding of flight dynamics (fixed and rotary wing)
• Proven embedded systems expertise
• U.S. Person status (required for program eligibility)

Bonus Points For

• Active DoD clearance
• FAA Part 107
• Experience integrating EO/IR or radar sensors
• Familiarity with FPGA/VHDL, DevOps, or CI/CD pipelines
